I am a floral and landscape artist whose journey began in 1996 with floral acrylic painting. I progressed from painting on decorative pieces into applying my floral designs to canvas. To me, canvas was the natural progression into painting landscapes and seascapes. In the last few years I have come to love painting with artist oils, and most recently with artist watercolors.
Teaching is also something I love, and you can find me teaching at conventions in 2018, namely Creative Painting in Las Vegas and The Society of Decorative Painter's Conference in Daytona Beach, FL. I also hope to be selected to teach at Heart of Ohio Tole in Columbus, OH in august, and Painting Palooza in OK next October.
I paint in my home studio, and I have two studio helpers…well, they think they help, sometimes I wonder. Their names are Lucy, a Cocker Spaniel, and Jax. Jax is Bichon mix who is a rescue who came to me about 4 years ago.
